CBC of Seminole – CBC of Seminole is a nonprofit agency charged with developing community-based services and supports for children and families served by the child welfare system in Seminole County. A core value is the belief that all children have the inalienable right to grow up safe, healthy and fulfilled in families that love and nurture them. The mission of CBC of Seminole is to protect and inspire every child, every day.
Children’s Home Society of Florida – Created in 1902, Children’s Home Society of Florida (CHS) is the oldest and largest statewide private not-for-profit provider of services to children and families in Florida. Nationally accredited, CHS serves an average of 100,000 children and families annually and manages the cases of nearly one-third of all children in Florida’s foster care system. CHS is headquartered in Winter Park, Fla., and offers services in more than 100 locations by more than 2,000 staff members dedicated to providing child-focused, family-centered care.
Florida Coalition for Children – The Florida Coalition for Children advocates for Florida’s abused and neglected children and supports the agencies and individuals who work on their behalf. Our member agencies care for nearly 50,000 children and families in crisis, providing critical services and programs to this vulnerable population throughout the state.
Florida TaxWatch is a nonpartisan, nonprofit research institute that over its 29-year history has become widely recognized as the watchdog of citizens’ hard-earned tax dollars. Its purpose is to provide the citizens of Florida and public officials with high quality, independent research and education on government revenues, expenditures, taxation, public policies and programs.
