Never in Florida’s history have so many independent groups joined together to implement change. Today, AARP, Florida TaxWatch and a statewide group of children’s social service organizations/advocates are setting an example for our legislative leaders – setting aside differing priorities and holding leaders accountable to ensure that the state’s most vulnerable citizens are properly cared for and that needed services are funded in an accountable and cost-effective manner.
