Town Hall Meetings:
Calling for state lawmakers to consider fresh approaches to resolving the state budget crisis, rather than simplistic across-the-board budget cuts, Florida’s People - Florida’s Promise has held a series of Town Hall events across Florida. More than 1,000 concerned citizens heard about solutions to the budget crisis directly from 42 legislators or candidates for the Legislature, representing as much as one-fourth of the Legislature.
